The scientific journal “Tomsk State University Journal of Biology” publishes the results of the completed original research (theoretical and experimental manuscripts) in different areas of contemporary Agricultural & Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Genetics & Molecular Biology and Environmental Sciences, some aspects of human and animal physiology, which have not been published previously in this or any other edition and are not currently submitted for publication elsewhere. It includes descriptions of conceptually novel methods of research, reviews and overviews.

The Journal is intended for a broad range of experts in biology and ecology: Russian and international scientific community, a broad audience of professional biologists, as well as educators, teachers, advanced students, and interested members of the public around the world. The Journal publishes papers on general issues of modern experimental biology, ecology and agriculture, as well as research articles and reviews on botany, geobotany, zoology, soil science and ecology, carried out  in Siberian region over the last 20 years. For better understanding of problems and results described in the papers, tables and figures are in Russian and English and each paper has a Summary in English.

The Editorial Board of the “Tomsk State University Journal of Biology” commits to the internationally accepted principles of publication ethics expressed.

The Journal has no waiver policy: the only requirements to all manuscripts are not to have been published previously in this or any other edition, as well as their scientific character, validity, precision and clarity.

Screening for Plagiarism
The Journal has plagiarism screening policy. The authors found guilty of plagiarism are disqualified from publishing this or any other material ever.
