Tendencies and characteristics of technological shifts in the Russian economy
Structural modernization is aimedat taking the economy to a new higher level of technological development. The current dynamics oftechnological improvements is conditioned by the decreased share of the raw material industry, developmentof innovative and consumers industries as well as prepared environment for structural modernization.The priority is given to cross-sectoral technological systems based on innovative clusters,which produce and market ideas, with the further formation of the entire technological system as thebasis for innovative development of the economy.
