Региональная политика безопасности Австралии в эпоху неопределенности

Администрация Дональда Трампа не представила определенную концепцию своей индо-тихоокеанской стратегии. Более того, провозглашенный подход «сделки» и установление высоких таможенных тарифов в отношении лояльных США азиатских государств поставил под сомнение сложившийся баланс сил в регионе, который удерживал региональную архитектуру безопасности. В целях обеспечения национальной безопасности и стратегической стабильности Австралия будет опираться на минилатеральные соглашения с азиатскими и европейскими партнерами, стремиться сохранить партнерские отношения с США, усилит вовлеченность в сотрудничество с АСЕАН, НАТО и ЕС и будет проводить политику «гибкого балансирования» в отношениях с Китаем. Автор заявляет об отсутствии конфликта интересов.
