The basic ideas of the treatise of Humbert of Romans«De praedicatione sanctae crucis» .
The present research is based on the treatise De praedicatione sanctae crucis written by Humbert of Romans, the fifth master general of the Dominican order. The text was written during the chirch reformof the XIIIth century and in whole confirms the constancy of the argument for the participationin the crusade.
