VI International Conference "Dialogue of Cultures: Poetics of Local Text" (26-29 May 2018, Gorno-Altaisk State University)

The paper is supported by the Russian Foundation of Basic Research (RFBR) Grant No. 18-412-041004 "The Project of the Organization of the VI International Conference Dialogue of Cultures: Poetics of Local Text" The paper offers a brief overview of the reports presented at the VI International Conference "Dialogue of Cultures: Poetics of Local Text", held on 26-29 May 2018 in Gorno-Altaisk State University. The main problem area of the conference was the study of images of space in Russian and World literature, as well as the study of dialogue phenomena in the languages and cultures of Europe and Asia. The conference was held in two sections: "Russia, the West and the East: Dialogue of Cultures in the Travelogue Discourse" and "The Asian Frontier of Russia: Ethnography, Literature, Folklore".
