Estimation by method of moments of the parameter of the uniform distribution of the duration of unextendable random dead time in recurrent semi-synchronous events flow in general and special case
We study a semi-synchronous event stream, which belongs to the class of doubly stochastic event streams. The functioning of the flow is considered under the conditions of a non-extendable random dead time distributed according to a uniform law on the interval [0, T*]. A special case of functioning of a semi-synchronous flow of events is considered, when such a flow is recurrent, in general and special cases of the ratio of its parameters. The parameter T of the uniform distribution of the duration of non-extendable random dead time is estimated by the method of moments. The results of statistical experiments are presented, showing the adequacy of the obtained estimates. Contribution of the authors: the authors contributed equally to this article.
