Dialogic text activity in the development of linguo-methodical teacher training
The article analyses the role of collaborative dialogic learning environment in the development of pre-service foreign language teachers' linguo-methodical competence at teacher training universities. The article focuses on the processes that provide professionally-oriented language practice in the context of dialog approach to modern education. The starting point of the author's reasoning is the analysis of the concept of the dialogueness from the psychological and methodical points of view. As a result of this analysis, it became possible to represent the linguistic means of dialogueness and the forms of interaction between the reader and the author of a scientific text, their specific features. The potential of dialogic text activity in the development of linguo-methodical teacher training is discussed, which manifests itself in the integration of two aspects - intertextual (semantic component of the text that includes its target orientation, or discursive strategy) and intratextual (connection of the text with the context that leads to the intertextual dialogic environment) dialogic relations. The phenomenon of interactivity is thoroughly analyzed in four areas. Such an approach leads itself quite naturally to the integrated teaching of the four traditional language skills. It employs authentic reading and listening materials which make students not only understand information but to interpret and evaluate it as well. It provides a format in which students can respond orally and in writing to reading and listening materials. The author describes the system of skills necessary for professionally-oriented communication which involve interaction with the author of the text and with peers. The carried-out analysis of the phenomenon allowed determining the strategies that help students comprehend the text: information evaluating and acquisition, creating a new text. Three groups of interactive exercises are described that support students in the development of their interactive skills.
