Phrasebook image as a source of cultural connotations (A. Pristavkin "Golden cloud spent the night")
In article the internal form of the phraseological unit being a peculiar intermediary in the cultural space is considered. Images of animals formed a basis of phraseological units, are regarded as units of the zoomorphic culture code. The carried-out linguocultural analysis of the phraseological units reveals characteristics, markers, peculiarities of behavior of the animals, transferred to the person.
