Operation and semantic characteristics of linguistic cliches in the french language (based on the customs of discourse)

The article presents the results of research in the use of stereotyped expressions in professionally oriented customs editions in French. Basically the use of cliches is aimed at a particular communicative effect; in respect of the word meaning important issues are regional studies and implicit approaches. Use of cliches is identical to phraseology, sayings and is related to the author's intentions to provide information to the addressee in compact and expressive form as well as to have emotional impact. The structure of cliches is analyzed, their varieties are pointed out. Professionally oriented customs literature in the journalistic style of speech includes sustainable design cliche (fixed cliche patterns?), including in Latin, as well as expressions with the general token and various components, cliched design tokens can include nouns, adjectives, participles, verbs. Used cliche patterns represent cliches that contain a maximum semantic load. The formation of such structures occurs by means of certain lexical models with logical compatibility, where verbs, forming syntagmatic structures, implement covalent bonds. Analyzed texts contain a large number of stable stereotyped expressions with negative prefixes anti-, non, and general cultural vocabulary in some cliched expressions can acquire specific semantic connotation. It's determined that the semantics of a cliche in professionally oriented texts in French reflect the key issues and activities of the customs service; linguistic cliches as well as professional customs terminology are the specifics of a discourse in French.
