Litarary precedent names in russian and egyptian press

Article is devoted to a comparative study of precedent names with sphere-source "Literature" in Russian and Egyptian press, to determine general trends and specific features of Russian and Egyptian press's addressees. Our analysis shows that in the Russian press precedent names with the sphere-source "literature" has the most numerous frequency (36.42%), which is due to literaturotsentrizm (literature-centricity) of Russian culture and the special position of literature in the Russian national consciousness. In the Egyptian press precedent names with the sphere-source "literature" ranked second and have only 15.48% of the total, which is almost three times smaller than those precedent names found in the Russian press. This modest percentage compared with the percentage in the Russian press, explained, in our opinion, by high percentage of illiteracy in Egypt, and the fact that in the stage of basic education in Egypt are not taught the classics of Egyptian and Arabic literature.
