Lexical-semantic interpretation of concepts «Правда», «Truth» and «Verdad» in the Russian, Anglo-American and Spanish language world-pictures

The article deals with the concepts «Правда», «Truth» and «Verdad» as one of the most important components of cultural and moral and ethical structures of the language world-pictures of Russia, Spain and the English-speaking countries. Their national peculiarities are considered through the analysis of the definitions recorded in explanatory dictionaries as well as phraseological units and proverbs. As a result of the etymological, lexico-semantic and cognitive analysis some extra features of the concepts which are situational in character come to light. An attempt is made to explain the mutual features and the national peculiarities of the concepts under considetation.
