Communicative competence or communicative readiness of language learners for communication
The development of students’ communicative competence has traditionally been the chief goal of teaching practical mastery of foreign languages. This research has shown that overall readiness for communication is conditioned by a broad composition of communicative competence, including besides discursive readiness, students’ intellectual and personal readiness to socialize as well as communicative set. With this understanding of communicative competence, the significance of subject knowledge, together with metasubject and personality results are important to successfully teach the learners’ practical command of the foreign language as requested by the Federal educational standard.
