Foreign monologue teaching: an integrated basis
Pedagogical integration is considered as a promising direction in learning by a pre-service teacher to use a foreign language monologue. Its functional structure is presented. The elementary level is formed by interdisciplinary links as the objective basis of all integration processes. Interdisciplinary interaction is responsible for the nature of the relationship between the objects and subjects of integration and acts as a unit of higher order. Defining integration as a process, principle and result, the logical and informative structure of teaching foreign monologue on an integrative basis is revealed. The investigated type of teaching is understood as an interdisciplinary synthesis of practice-oriented and theoretical-philological disciplines at the level of goal-setting, content and teaching technologies. Logical-content structure performs the function of the program-orientation, because it reflects the main elements of the phenomenon we are investigating: the target direction, objects, structure, the nature of the relationships, the result. Proceeding from this, integrated subjects and final results arising in the course of their mastering are indicated: "Practical foreign language course" / "Workshop on the culture of verbal communication" / "Foreign language"; "Practical Grammar"; "Philological analysis of the text" / "Linguistic analysis of the text"; "Lexicology"; "Stylistics", "Country Studies"; "Linguistic and cultural studies". A system of descriptors for assessing the levels of competence monologue has been developed. The organizational-methodical aspect of training is described, which is understood as the system of functioning of all components of the pedagogical process. Examples are given of the use of educational technologies (technologies of problem-based learning, personality-oriented learning, information and communication technologies, design technologies, the technologies of theatrical pedagogy), forms of educational activities organization (plenary, group, individual, pair) and mode of operation (internal, remote through the system MOODLE).
