Linguaculturological role of proverbs and sayings in the language educational process of the University
The modern stage of development of scientific thought is characterized by the most important methodological shift towards humanitarian knowledge. The expansion of research in the field of linguaculturology is largely due to a change in paradigms in linguistics. For linguistics, this methodological turn means an increase in interest in language as a phenomenon of human culture. Inside linguistics, disciplines that study language in close connection with the mind and thinking of the person, culture and the spiritual life of peoples are identified. Within the framework of this tendency, the study of linguacultural problems becomes more and more urgent. The role of proverbs and sayings in all the languages is hard to overestimate. Proverbs and sayings are a fact of language. They have always been and still a part of the human culture. They play an important role in language teaching as a part of gaining cultural knowledge and communicative competence of the students. They are concise, easy to remember and useful in every situation in life due to their content of everyday experiences. This article is devoted to the analysis, to informative and educative role of the texts of some proverbs and sayings in Ossetic, German and Russian. On the basis of the research differences and similarities in three cultures are revealed; the principles of development of the poly cultural personality, the understanding of the subject boundaries of higher educational sphere, namely the interaction of culture and society are defined. This article offers a variety of methodological techniques for studying proverbs and sayings. They can be used for morphological and semantic analysis. Their usage is aimed at motivating students to improve their speaking skills, to develop their imagination, to master language competence and expand their outlook.
