Ways of language training modernization for students of technical universities

The concept of modernization of language training for students of technical universities is presented. The principles of professionally oriented language training are developed, which must be observed when teaching a foreign language in technical universities. To achieve the required level of the formation of foreign-language professionally oriented competence of students, it is recommended to use active and interactive forms of conducting classes (computer simulations, business and role plays, case studies) in conjunction with out-of-class work in the learning process of a foreign language. In the article it is spoken about the creation of conditions for increasing of students motivation. This can be done by organizing training by means of selection, structuring the content of training and the forms of its presentation. The interrelated training in the types of speech activity takes place within the framework of their consistently temporal correlation on the basis of common linguistic material, the development of one kind facilitates the mastery of other ones, the sequence of the kinds of speech activity is not rigid and constant for various learning conditions. When creating a textbook, it should be remembered that it should ensure the individual educational trajectory of each student, purposefully form its academic competencies, and be aimed at fulfilling a narrow range of tasks of professionally oriented learning. Foreign language training in technical universities can be successful and effective only if the so-called oriented selection of text material is consistently carried out in the course of all training, and the professional orientation of students is taken into account. Such work should be carried out in close contact with profiling chairs.
