The problem of analyzing mistakes in fiction translation (based on a passage from «A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court» by M. Twain)
Common mistakes made by students and schoolchildren when translating fiction are analyzed basing on classifications of translation mistakes. The attempt is made to suggest the ways of dealing with the most common mistakes to improve the technique of teaching translation.
