To the question of justice in the context of the study of the concept of "Truth" verbalized in the lexemes pravda, truth and verdad (on the basis of Russian, English and Spanish proverbs and sayings)
The article is dedicated to the conceptual criterion of justice, one of the constituent features of the concept of "TRUTH" in Russian, English and Spanish world pictures. The material chosen for analysis presents proverbs and sayings containing the lexemes pravda in the Russian language, truth in English and verdad in Spanish, analysed in the linguocultural aspect. According to the interpretive analysis of paremias as value-marked statements proposed by P.V. Chesnokov, the authors rely on his method of identifying and studying logemes, which generalize initial thoughts. The proposed article deals in detail with two groups of judgments about justice: 1) need for truth / justice in the life of society; 2) The power of truth / justice. In each group the authors of the article disclose the logemes, characteristic of Russian, English and Spanish. The distribution of the logemes into groups is favored by the fact that the peoples speaking Russian, English and Spanish are predominantly representatives of one European culture. However, each group of the logemes reveals essential peculiarities, indicative of the national specific character of each people. Thus, justice in the Russian proverbs reflects the meaning of life, the fidelity to the memory of ancestors, who transmitted their love for the Fatherland to the future generation. Its strength lies in the people's faith in the higher justice. Ideas of justice in the English language take shape of the desire for protection and reward under the cover of the truth. The Spanish way to justice is based on philanthropy and the desire to live with God's help. The findings of the analysis can be useful to translators, linguists and culturologists for a better understanding of Russian, English and Spanish cultures in the context of their interaction. The article makes a contribution to the solution of the problem of preserving spiritual values through the study of nationally significant concepts.
