Peculiarities of the preparation for international exams in the French language in the educational practice of the university
The article deals with the peculiarities of the preparation of the students of K. Minin Nizhny Novgorod Pedagogical University specializing in "Pedagogical education", profile "Foreign language (English)" and "Foreign language (French)", for the international exam in the French language DELF В1. The peculiarity of preparation for the international exams at the university is that it organically combines lectures and practical classes aimed at the training of a certain type of speech activity. Combined classes, created with the use of lectures containing requirements and criteria of assessment of the completed tasks, the main recommendations for their correct implementation, the scale of assessment for such activities as speaking and writing, provide more conscious and effective preparation. Unlike the majority of language schools offering international certification, the preparation for the international exam at the university has such advantages as deep and conscious intake of material, and not just plain "drilling" for completing the blocks of exam, as well as analysis of requirements and criterion for assessment. Considering the work experience as an examiner at the Cultural and Educational Organization "Alliance Franjaise Nizhny Novgorod" the author gives the analysis of the implementation of tasks in listening, reading, writing and speaking. The article presents the results of the mock exam, describes the difficulties arising in the process of preparation for the exam, learning achievements and typical mistakes of the examinees and provides the recommendations for the improvement of the preparation for the international exam in the French language.
