Motivational aspects of teaching foreign languages in higher education
The article examines the presence of a new socio-cultural situation in modern Russia, influencing the process of forming a competitive creative specialist. In addition, a look at the open educational space with accents of today's realities is given. Possible aspects of increasing the motivation of students in mastering foreign languages in a higher educational institution have been analyzed. The professional activity of a higher school teacher is considered, which is closely related to the problem of increasing the motivation for learning a foreign language in order to successfully master foreign language communication. The relationship between the motivation for learning foreign languages and the interests of students is described. Motivation is presented in the article as the driving force of human activity. The choice of motivation is significantly influenced by the environment, own perspective and social needs. New educational strategies are closely related to modern changes in these needs. The author is looking for new ways to actualize these needs associated with successful communication. The task was set - to increase the level of communicative competence of students. From the point of view of the author of the article, this is associated with support, encouragement and achievement of success in mastering a foreign language. The motivation for learning a foreign language is a factor contributing to its mastering, a psychological stimulus for its cognition with a specific purpose of its subsequent application. The article presents a model for the formation of successful skills in mastering a foreign language. The quality of education must be constantly improved. Today there are new realities in teaching a foreign language. Its productive comprehension leads to successful self-actualization of the student. Educational policy in the context of globalization of society is aimed today at the skillful mastery of foreign languages. Modern educational technologies affect the motivation of students and the activities of teachers in the classroom, since higher education is self-change. Competence in modern society contributes to the development of new educational management models and teaching styles. Today, a differentiated approach to the subject of teaching is especially relevant. The goal of this approach is to develop an advanced level of foreign language proficiency. The theory of the development of students' innovative linguistic personality contributes to the application of a creative approach to the subject. The task of the teacher is to influence the development of flexible independent thinking in students and their ability to cultural enrichment. Preparing the ground in teacher-student tandem helps build their selfconfidence.
