Methodological basis for development and implementation of “Business writing and e-mailing” online course in the framework of formation of digital educational environment of university
The article studies the current trends in the development of domestic higher education, the prevalence of digitalization and internationalization processes among them has become found. The authors considered the regulatory and legal framework of these processes, assessed the current level of formation of a foreign language communicative competency of students, they made a conclusion about the need to improve it by “blended” learning methods. The article provides an example of a project map developed by the authors for an “Business writing and e-mailing” online course and also presents the stages of work on the project, including setting goals and objectives of the course, among which is the need to form students' foreign language communicative competency in spheres of socially and professionally oriented communication, as well as the formation of professional behavioral skills necessary for the successful adaptation of graduates to the labor market. At subsequent stages, the authors developed the content of the course's online lectures and posted them on the Moodle platform. The authors analyzed the set of services of the Learning Management System (LMS) and their role both in the implementation of the online course and in assisting in the development of its content; the most effective in this role were the following instruments: “Lecture”, “Test”, “Wiki”, “Glossary”, “Chat”. The article has clearly shown that teaching a foreign language online allows organizing the current and deferred control of extracurricular, independent work of students using online tools, including using the analysis of digital footprint throughout the entire period of study; elements of electronic teaching aids (presentations, tests, videos, chat) increase the efficiency of delivering educational content of the course; the specificity of online language learning provides an opportunity to choose an individual pace of mastering the content of training and allows you to form an individual educational trajectory.
