Psycholinguistic mechanisms of verbalization of concepts of psychological, informational and informational-psychological security
The relevance of the topic is determined by the functioning in scientific and everyday discourse of many terms denoting different types of security. The constant appearance of new terms, including on the basis of combining old terms, complicates the processes of their verbalization. At the same time, the psycholinguistic mechanisms of this verbalization remain poorly understood. The purpose of the proposed study was to identify the psycholinguistic mechanisms of verbalization of the concepts of psychological, informational and informational-psychological security. The study involved 150 students aged 18 to 20 years, students enrolled in bachelor's degree programs in the areas of "Psychology", "Linguistics" and "Information Security", which provided differences in their mastery of key categories for research. The methods of free associative experiment and cognitive interpretation of its results were used. The procedure of the free associative experiment involved presenting respondents with three consecutive concepts-stimuli, represented by the phrases "information and psychological security", "information security" and "psychological security", followed by their written fixation of all the response associations that arise. Experts were involved in the analysis of empirical materials. The nonparametric Fisher angular transformation method was used. At the initial stage of the study, three arrays of verbal reactions corresponding to the stimuli "information and psychological security", "information security" and "psychological security" were obtained. The reconstruction of the structure of the concepts under consideration has established the absence among them of the components of meaning related to the core of the associative field. They were distributed along the near, far and extreme periphery. A high level of similarity of the content and structure of the concepts of "information and psychological security" and "psychological security" has been established and, at the same time, a radical difference from them of the concept of "information security" has been revealed. The absence of a core in the structure of concepts increases the instability of their content. The concept of "information security" has a "weightier" near periphery than the other two, and, because of this, it seems more formalized in comparison with them. According to the results of the study, the distributions of the components of the concept of the concepts of psychological, informational and informational-psychological security are constructed, their structure is revealed according to the classifiers "security objects", "security subjects", "means/sources of security", "security indicators", "sources of security threats", "indicators of security threats". It is established that the verbalization of the concepts of psychological, informational and informational-psychological security is carried out on the basis of convergence mechanisms. Two levels of convergence of the concept of "security" have been identified, each of which is accompanied by a change in the components of the meaning of the resulting concepts. The first level of convergence consists in the formation of the concepts of "psychological security" and "information security" with a change in the semantic content, compared with the original concept of "security". The second level of convergence, consisting in the formation of the concept of "information and psychological security" from the concepts of "psychological security" and "information security", is accompanied by the preservation in the linguistic consciousness of the components of the meaning of the concept of "psychological security" and a significant rejection of the components of the meaning of the concept of "information security". The conducted research revealed rearrangements of the components of the meaning of concepts formed on the basis of the concept of "security". It is established that the processes of verbalization of security concepts are ambiguous and convergence mechanisms are selectively involved in them, depending on the values involved in the formation of a new security concept. This makes it necessary to clarify in everyday and scientific discourse the meanings of concepts built on the basis of the concept of "security".
