The role of ICT in teaching oral two-way economic translation to students-linguists of the Chinese department
The article deals with the current trend towards informatization of education, the spread of information and communication technologies as one of the means of education. The process of teaching two-way interpretation to Chinese students is considered, as well as the methodology of teaching interpretation in general, the competence of the teacher necessary when using ICT in educational activities. The features of teaching Chinese students economic discourse are studied. The important role of ICT in teaching oral two-way economic translation to students-linguists of the Chinese department at a language university is investigated and substantiated. The process of experimental teaching of Chinese students to the oral two-way translation of economic discourse texts from Chinese into Russian is described, the results of the experiment are presented, as well as conclusions and prospects for further study of this topic. The aim of the study is to develop methodological recommendations for teaching consecutive two-way economic interpretation to linguists studying Chinese through the integration of ICT into the educational process. Due to the lack of a clear and unified methodology for teaching economic translation directly in the Chinese-Russian language pair, we see the novelty of the study in generalizing information about the use of ICT in teaching interpretation to students of the linguists of the Chinese department, presenting the technology of teaching economic translation from Chinese through ICT. The theoretical significance of the study is to identify the features of teaching economic translation to students of the Chinese Department of linguistics, which are closely related to the specifics of the Chinese language and take into account the comprehensive differences between Chinese and Russian; substantiating the need for the use of ICT in educational activities and developing methodological recommendations for teaching economic interpretation from Chinese using ICT, which will help in formation of the necessary professional skills of students. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of implementing the methodological recommendations proposed in the framework of this study in the practical activities of teachers when teaching translation from Chinese into Russian, as well as other disciplines not related to translation, but related to teaching foreign language communication.
