Modern text genres in teaching vocational communication skills to students of non-linguistic universities

The paper reviews modern genres of vocationally relevant texts applicable to non-linguistic university LSP instruction aiming at forming a vocationally oriented secondary language personality. It is shown that abstract is one of the most appropriate genres to simulate the processes underlying vocational communications.
