A consideration of features of tuvan dialects through interrogation and forensic-linguistic enquiry in cases of burglary in rural areas in specific conditions of livelihoods of different ethnic groups
Tactically, the difficulty of an interrogation is predetermined by the necessity to consider systematically active factors, both objective and subjective. One objective factor is the level of the interrogated person language in which he speaks with other participants of the investigative action and another is the interrogated person intellectual abilities which can appear through his speech. A well-known request to consolidate data which is given by interrogated person during the interrogation is more accurate explanation of it, if possible. While recording the testimony in transcript of interrogation, the interrogator must transfer the exact content of it, saving the formulation and expressions which are usual for interrogated person's speech. Persons who give evidence in formal conditions of the interrogation, surely, mostly focus on unified literary speech. However, mostly, this request should be of an ideal way as the speech is not free from dialect, low colloquial, jargons and expressions, professional words, etc. In conditions of existence in serious differences between dialects which is peculiar to the interrogator's or other's speech, there are some problems, first of all, a problem of psychological contact and a problem of accurate presentation of case. Protocol text must definitely have a single meaning and all kinds of digressions on literary canons including a dictating dialect features are needed to be explained. And thus, the most important thing during the preparations for the interrogation is inspecting the personality of interrogated person. During the crime investigation, special emphasis is needed to be paid to behavioral characteristics of participants of criminal proceedings depending on their ethnic points. It would be extremely useful to consider the temperament which is peculiar to representatives of certain ethnics and also to traditions of verbal and non-verbal speech, appearing of which should be recorded into videotape. Even greater necessity in recording videotape arises in a case of translator's participation in the interrogation. In a case of a dispute about wrong translation, it can be appointed the court linguistic examination according to materials of audio video-recording i.e. using of special knowledge in a form of expert examination.
