Constitutional secularism in Russia: the poetry of principles and lawenforcement prose
Today the problems and perspectives of realizationof the constitutional principle of secularism in legislation and law enforcement practice are widelydiscussed. Although the opinion about the necessity to provide some traditional religious associationswith a special status is widespread, such an approach does not conform to the norms of the Constitutionof the Russian Federation. Russian law on freedom of conscience and forms of its realizationas well as the whole system of state-confessional relations need revision.
