About some problems of state registration of transactions under the civil legislation of the Russian Federation
The article is devoted to the 105th anniversary of the birth of a prominent scientist, teacher, specialist in the field of civil law, Doctor of Law, Professor B.L. Haskelberg. The article gives a general description of his personal qualities, scientific and pedagogical activity, evaluates the role in the restoration of the Department of Civil Law of Tomsk State University, in the development of domestic civil legislation and law enforcement practice. The spheres of scientific interests and scientific works of the last years of his life are analyzed. The memoirs of the author of the article about B.L. Haskelberg, the assessment of his personal qualities are based on communication with him for many years: during his postgraduate studies under his scientific supervision, work at the Department of Civil Law of the TSU Law School. The author was lucky enough to participate in informal discussions with Boris Lazarevich on the problems of law enforcement, judicial practice, when, for example, he expressed an impeccable opinion on the accuracy and validity of cases considered by the courts of the Tomsk region. In the last years of his life, Boris Lazarevich clarified some of his views on certain postulates of the doctrine and civil legislation. Undoubtedly, Doctor of Law, Professor B.L. Haskelberg is the founder of the civilistic school of Siberia. His students were the core of the teaching staff of the Departments of Civil Law of law faculties and institutes of Siberian universities: in Kemerovo, Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, etc. The subject of his scientific interests has always been the most pressing problems of contract law, civil legislation and law enforcement practice. In the post-Soviet period, a number of monographic works by Boris Lazarevich (co-authored with Professor V.V. Rovny), articles on topical issues of civil law, including problems of state registration of real estate transactions, were written and published. Most of his scientific works, despite the changes in the socio-economic situation and civil legislation, are still of scientific interest and remain in demand for civil law researchers. Boris Lazarevich Haskelberg undoubtedly went down in the history of Tomsk State University as a bright scientist, a talented teacher, a wonderful person, modest and delicate, dedicated to the cause. Colleagues and students of Boris Lazarevich will always keep good memories of him.
