Complete Dictionary of the Dialect Language Personality as a source of studying the temporal worldview of the language personality of a Siberian old-timer

The article discusses the source study potential of the Complete Dictionary of the Dialect Language Personality for the study of fragments of the worldview of the language personality of a folk speech culture representative. The Complete Dictionary of the Dialect Language Personality is part of a large-scale project of Tomsk dialectologists in the multidimensional study of the language personality of a Siberian old-timer. The object of the study was the language personality of Vera Prokofyevna Vershinina, born in 1909, native of the old-timer village Vershinino of Tomsk Oblast. The basis of the dictionary is the speech of the informant that was recorded for 24 years by inclusion in the speaker's language existence. The description is focused on identifying the informative potential of the dictionary in the reconstruction of the temporal worldview of the language personality, in particular its variant, cultural time. It is correlated with the Orthodox holidays, and is sacred, of highest collective value. The alternation of the sacred and the profane time regulates the life of the peasant community in the year circle and represents a folk calendar. The dictionary reflects more than sixty units indicating the points and periods of the folk calendar. The most informative part of the dictionary entries on these units is illustrative. It includes various aspects of information: numerous references to exact dates of sacred days and time periods both in the old and new style, to their order, which shows that this side of life was a focus area of the language personality. The second aspect of information is connected with the ranking of the holidays; it revealed a mismatch of value priorities of the peasant culture and church ranking. The contexts reflect dietary regulation and prohibition to work on a holiday. Both are correlated with the concept of sin and firmly rooted in the mind of the language personality. The folk calendar also manifests itself in naming. In addition, it reflects the combination of the two systems of timekeeping: agricultural and Christian, inherent to the agricultural community. Thus, the temporal worldview of the Siberian peasant includes cultural time; the analysis of the entries on this topic allows reconstructing the language personality's representations of the nature of time movement and ways of measuring it. The existing contexts reflect the collective knowledge learned and appropriated by the individual: it is an integral part of the informant's life. Dates of Christian holidays are connected with different spheres of life: the highest spiritual values, nature, agricultural labor. The mention of each of them helps to identify features of the language personality's worldview, her value system.
