Interpretative zone of entry of the Dictionary of Siberian Dialect Synonyms
In this paper we cover some problems of composing a dictionary of a new type - the synonymic dictionary of one dialect, in which the interpretative zone including many aspects of features of synonyms is presented for the first time. The urgency of composing the dictionary is caused by the demand of the lexicographic method of the Russian language and its dialects research. The Dictionary of Siberian Dialect Synonyms is a one-dialect dictionary constructed on the material of the Siberian dialect of the village Vershinino, located in Tomsk region. The conception of the dictionary is offered by O. Blinova. The macrostructure of the dictionary is presented by entries located alphabetically. The microstructure of the dictionary is defined by the structure of an entry which includes three zones: initial, interpretative and illustrative. The interpretative zone is presented by interpretation of the dominant meaning and by semasiological, culturological, lexicological, and grammatical characteristics of the synonymic row components. The semasiological characteristic is represented, first, by the definition of the type of a synonym relative to the dominant: three types of synonyms (absolute synonyms - with identical meanings; relative, or semantic, synonyms - with similar meanings; stylistic synonyms); second, by the definition of presence or absence of motivation - a structural-semantic characteristic of some lexical unit, allowing to realize the interconditionality of its meaning and sounding; third, the functions of synonyms in speech of dialect informants are described. This way, in the given entry functions of synonyms are allocated by two criteria: 1) according to the position of participants of a dialogue these are defined: replacement, specification, explanation, metalingual, expressive functions; 2) according to the position of the researcher these are: stylistic variety, informative, enumeration, reiteration functions. The lexicological characteristic is presented by: 1) system connections between components of a synonymic row (variant and antonymous connections, some synonyms have homonyms and polysemants); 2) the characteristic of synonyms in the aspect of novelty and obsolescence (new, outdated, archaic synonyms); 3) stylistic differentiation: lofty, folk and poetic, colloquial, substandard styles. Members of a synonymic row are characterized by different correlation to the main forms of the national language: dialect, urban colloquial language and literary language, and also their versions. The quantitative characteristic connected with the number of uses of a synonym in the sources finishes the interpretative zone. The concept of the dictionary offered by O. Blinova has received practical application, all theoretical propositions are illustrated in its fragment. The considerable material of synonymic pairs and rows (552 entries) is introduced.
