Maybe this is one of the most important tasks of our magazine - to share with our musicians what we only have in Tomsk? No wonder this city is called Siberian Athens - and as Mikhail Lomonosov said Russia's wealth will grow by Siberia... Whatever it was, but in our magazine alternate questions living in Tomsk, with questions living in other parts ... The first pages of the magazine ("Vita brevis. Ars longa") are devoted to the masters who left this world - Boris Alexandrovich Shindin and Oleg Ovanesovich Meremkulov. The "Technology of Mastery" section turned out to be surprisingly integral: the questions of tutorial support raised in the article by V. Maksimov were widely and convincingly developed in the article by O. Tkachenko and E. Stepanova; the attention paid in the article by V. Maksimov to piano art continues in the article by E. Prikhodovskaya and A. Okisheva. The issues of the relationship and interaction of the types of arts are discussed in articles by S. Merku-lov, E. Prikhodovskaya and P. Volkova.
