The Dictionary of The Folk Spoken Language of Tomsk of the 17th - the Beginning of the 18th Centuries as a source of anthroponomy study

There are more than 500 lexicalarticles for letters A, Б, В, Г, Д analysed in this material. The components of the person's name areexplained well enough in the source. Personal Old Russian, non-Christian names (Bazhen, Druzhina,Druzhinka, Nekhoroshko, etc.) as well as Christian names: full names (Andrey, Vasily), spokenvariants of full names (Gavrilo, Samoilo) and modifications (short names, diminutive-hypocoristicnames and others) are analyzed in this article. There are especially many diminutive-hypocoristicnames (Lar'ka, Maksimka, Titko, and so on). The most common personal names according to the datasource are found (Ivan - Ivashka) - 38 times, Vasily - Vas'ka - 20 times, Fedor - Fed'ka - 19 times.As the analysed materials show the most popular model of the name is a binominal model, whichcontains the first name and the last name or nicknames for different categories of people.TFSTD does not often reflect the ternary name models of dukes and war-leaders (Duke NikitaIvanovich Egupov, War-Leader Nikita Andreevich Velyaminov).Special attention is given to full and short forms of the name in the anthroponomy name model,because this is the sign of the formation degree of the official name system in different regions.The analysed source classifies the usage of full and short names depending on the social rang as itwas in many Russian regions, and brings to a probable conclusion of the regional influence of theanthroponomical system ("litva").There are good prospects of the source evaluated for anthroponomical study in the wordformativeaspect.Knowledge taken from the source may be useful for linguists- turcologists, historians anddescendants of aborigine population of Siberia in the 17th century, because of a large content of Turkicnames (Murza, Bakhtoul, Nagyua, Duke Machik, etc.).The analysed source gives an interesting material for anthroponomy resources, as well as for afunctional specific study of Old Russian names in the regional aspect. This source gives an opportunityto discover the name of a person in its identifying function.At the end of the article there is a conclusion about good informative value of The Dictionary ofThe Folk Spoken Language of Tomsk of the 17th - the Beginning of the 18th Centuries for the studyof different types of anthroponomy, especially in the sphere of anthroponomical resources for solvingsome argumentative problems of anthroponomy using the regional material.
