Art-style of Russian literary language. Presenting the issue
The author studied two stylistic phenomena of the Russian literary language - the so-called stylistic-syntactic culture of attributive semantic emphasis, and figures of speech - as fundamental style-forming factors for a set of art criticism texts (texts of literary studies, literary criticism, film criticism, etc.). the article hypothesizes to consider these texts as a separate functional style of the literary language. The culture of attributive semantic emphasis is a complex of sixteen stylistic-syntactic constructs - figures ( AN-NA, NA, A, A.., N is N A, etc. where N (nomen) stands for the noun, and A (atributus) - for the adjective) in which attributive knowledge, i.e. knowledge of the subject and its features is represented in the meaning complicated by modus semantics: logical (chiasmus figure AN-NA, definitive figure of N is NA) and evaluative, emotive. The figure of speech is a lexically and positionally stable word combination denoting (by the semantic principle of metaphor or periphrasis) the numerous facts of widely understood social and cultural practice of the people; for example: time command, to go beyond all limits, to cross the line, to unmask someone, to leave much to be desired, etc. The database of figures of speech collected by the author of the article has over 2000 units. The culture of attributive semantic emphasis and the complex of figures of speech are the most important components of the so-called figurative fund of the Russian literary language. The purpose of this article is to draw the attention of researchers to one of the separate and large-scale (both paradigmatically and syntagmatically) sociocultural discourses (on the basis of the modern Russian literary language), where polydirectional connections between components of the communicative chain "the writer - the reader - the literary critic - the researcher of literary and art work" are realized and where sciences about fiction and literary criticism rule the aesthetic and spiritual life of society. Two heterogeneous phenomena of art criticism style considered in the article, on the one hand, outline the borders of art criticism discourse quite distinctly, on the other, reveal (realize) the main semantic principle of figures of attributive semantic emphasis, and figures of speech - an organic combination of their denotative ("logical") meaning and their expressiveness influencing the emotive sphere of readers of literature studies works and texts of literary criticism.
