Risk as an epistemological phenomenon

Considered in the context of the risk characteristics of the main non-classical epistemology. The author states that for non-classical epistemology peculiar transformation, according to which the main priority of cognitive activity shifts its focus in temporal terms with the present for the future. Subject of interest in this case is not so much what he knew, but the fact that he can learn. Truth as the main criterion of scientific knowledge loses its priority, and gets more and more significant risk, acting as one of the key dimensions of knowledge. Risk of acquiring the status of an epistemological phenomenon that demonstrates the growing degree of uncertainty as the background of the cognitive process and the need for the subject to know the world (decisions) in the face of increasing uncertainty. It is stated that in terms of the implementation of cognitive control researcher with respect to its reflection is possible only on the principle of self-control. The researcher should be aware of its responsibility to the world, to society, to assess the possible negative consequences of their ideas. It also determines that the risk as a measure of human life and society (including epistemological side) does not necessarily imply a negative impact. These effects can also be positive. This is the essence of risk associated with the fact that a person decides to certain actions in situations of uncertainty in order to achieve a positive result. And because it works, not realizing the fullness and depth of the situation in the first place, epistemologically, then there is a risk factor as the gain factor of uncertainty. Epistemological nature of the risk is due to the variety of risks, respectively necessity of their evaluation and selection. Many risks, the need to choose the most appropriate one , generates epistemological uncertainty. Therefore, the subject and the need requires risk as an inevitable condition of epistemological strategy non-classical type. The author concludes that the risk of being a multi-faceted concept, namely as an epistemological phenomenon acquires key importance for all other different sides of application.
