Nanodipoles of partial disclinations and the mechanism of deformation localization of nanostructured materials in the elastic region
The phenomenon of deformation localization in the region of elastic distortions with the formation of reorientation nano-bands with elastic curvature of the crystal lattice (hundreds of degrees per micrometer) and nanodipoles of partial disclinations as defects of an elastically deformed medium was found. The theoretical analysis of the elastic - stress state and the energy of these defects, including in the process of their transformation into more complex ensembles, was conducted. Using these results and molecular dynamics data on the study of dynamic vortex defects forming in the region of elastic distortions, mechanisms are proposed for deformation localization in this region at the stages of nucleation and propagation of the above-mentioned nano-bands.
