Stabilization features of a mercury capillary lamp radiation in a mercury vapor analyzer based on the Zeeman atomic absorption spectroscopy
The possibility of increasing the sensitivity of the mercury vapor analyzer in ambient air using as a radiation source a capillary lamp with a natural mercury isotopic mixture in the transverse Zeeman Effect was experimentally studied. Stabilization of the lamp radiation is provided by separate control of the temperature of the capillary and lamp bulb. The obtained sensitivity of the analyzer is 14 ng / m3 over a time interval of more than 40 minutes.
