Neurocutaneous flaps in the reconstructive surgery

With the development of new technology of forming thin fascio-cutaneous flaps based upon vessels which accompany superficial cutaneous nerves, as well as vessels which pass within the nervous trunk, new possibilities occur in the reconstructive surgery of lower extremity soft tissue defects especially in its distal segments.
