SURGICAL APPROACH IN DISTAL PHALANGEAL INJURIES OF FINGERS

We performed a retrospective analysis of findings of 540 patients who received treatment in the Department of Hand Surgery of N.V. Soloviyov Hospital of Emergency Care (Yaroslavl) due to distal phalangeal trauma of fingers during the period between 2010 and 2015, as well as analysis of data of the fingertip injuries’ treatment from the Yaroslavl Regional Territorial Fund of Obligatory Medical Insurance during the same time-period. The aim of the study was the investigation of structure of these injuries, their surgical treatment, and the development of practical recommendations for optimization of treatment outcomes.
