FUTURE OF RECONSTRUCTIVE MICROSURGERY: PROGNOSIS FOR RUSSIA FOR THE NEAREST DECADE
An attempt to assess the state of the art of Russian plastic reconstructive microsurgery and topredict its future based on responses from leaders of international microsurgery is undertaken in the paper. A wide list of negative circumstances against the background of few positive factors has formed the basis for the strategy of exit from this situation through promotion of microsurgical technology into the wide surgical practice of modern Russia.
