Interactive model "a map of professional mobility" as instrument of development professional identity in the context of modern education

Analysis of contemporary psychological research literature suggests the existence of two fractures in education (Gorokhovatsky L.Y, Kurilkina M.): 1) education is highly valued by modern students, but has no idea about its contents, and 2) teacher's negative position restricts learning process to retelling and reproducing lectures material. At the same time, the aim of modern education is the training of a competitive personality, capable of self-development. Unfortunately, in the presence of fractures it is impossible to achieve this aim. We believe that in the context of education these fractures can be overcome by supervisory support on two levels: the first basic level (as personal-professional support), the second (certification) level (as a form of work style correction). Supervision is considered as a process of teaching and learning in which a professionally oriented assistance is concentrated on the requirements of a professional work situation through pedagogical-educational and advisory therapeutic agents in a systematic and methodical manner. Supervision is a form of teacher and student cooperation aimed at identifying and stimulating new growing points in long-term professional education. As an instrument of supervisory support in the educational environment, we have developed an interactive model: "A map of professional mobility" (MPM). MPM based on educational program "Clinical psychology". Target audience: applicants, students and teachers. The model is aimed at determining professional identity through the expansion and specification of fields of professional activity. The map includes six directions. In accordance with the State Standards (professional tasks) and information on employment of graduates (Center for promotion of employment of graduates of TSU) in each direction are highlighted: professional competencies, and areas of applying specific psychological knowledge (institutions). The instrument had been approbating on applicants and students of the Department of Psychology Tomsk State University during two years. Stage of approbation demonstrated the effectiveness of instrument. Potentially instrument gives the possibility to work with teachers. This aspect is the perspective of our further studies.
