Features of family interaction in problem families and direction of the psychosocial adjustment

In relation with modern social trends the problem of understanding the psychological fundamentals of educational and offensive activities with minors. In scientific aspect psychological and personality peculiarities of adolescents growing up in socially complicated conditions (in families of alcohol abusers, those who were in prisons, and those with poor housing conditions and financial difficulties) are very important. Materials and results. Using the test "the Scale of family environment" 30 problem families were surveyed. A comparison of normative and problem families' questionnaire scales was made. The indicator of "independence" in surveyed problem families is higher than in normative families. Members of problem families strain after financial, professional, social, and emotional independence more than others. Also the indicator of "Commitment to achievements" is significantly higher in problem families than in normative ones. The indicator "Intellectual and cultural commitment" in problem families is lower than in normative families, but it is unreliable. The indicator "Commitment to active recreation" is significantly higher in problem families than in normative ones. The indicator "Moral aspects" was significantly lower in problem families than in normative ones. The indicator "organization" in problem families is lower than in normative families, but it is unreliable, i.e. the trend is educed. The indicator "control" is significantly higher in problem families than in normative ones. The results receives demonstrate a great psychological and human potential among adolescents grown up in problem families, although they also demonstrate some dangerous trends. Fundamental changes in educational system aimed to creating educational and social space, as opposed to punitive methods and detachment means, may be realized in case of guaranteed intellectual and cultural fundamentals and necessary and sufficient conditions for development and realization of adolescents' psychological potential.
