The conception of forming the general elements of the diagnostic search

This article argues the importance of researching non-specific elements of diagnostic search (NEODS). The purpose of this search was connected with researching of NEODS, which may manifest itself in different particular kinds of diagnostic. The basic task of this article was connected with forming and researching of NEODS among the students of near future professions, assumed diagnostic component (psychologists and defectologists). This task was achieved by means of a trainer "Diagnostic search-2" (DS-2). Approbation of DS-2 displayed that diagnostic work with it involves basic general diagnostic skills (typical strategies of diagnostic thinking, conception about two-level object of diagnostics etc.). In our research two groups of students were solving diagnostic tasks-puzzles, which implied finding the cause of certain dispersion of dots. We must note that formerly all mentioned students do not have experience in solving specially organized diagnostic tasks in any particular kind of diagnostics. After analysis and comparison of information received from solving tasks by test subject on DS-2, which included using strategies of thinking and typical diagnostic errors, graphical data about time of solving tasks, number of hypothesis, emerging barriers, etc., interpreted results of this experiment have demonstrated similar forming and actualization of diagnostic skills (NEODS) among the group of examinees. We found out the following NEODS: 1. Orientation on content of diagnostic task; 2. Tendency to optimal diagnostic stage; 3. Operation of diagnostic images; 4. Set to actual correctness of diagnoses; 5. Set to efficiency of diagnoses. We also demonstrate that without non-specific elements, diagnostic search turns to formal enumeration of different causes of deviation. Further comparison of revealed phenomena with empirical facts in medicine, technical and psychological diagnostics find out NEODS in these kinds of diagnostic. It shows the fact, that diagnostic search includes some non-specific components, which may influence on its process and productivity. NEODS illuminate the basic landmarks of diagnostic search. The performed research shows that nonspecific elements of diagnostic search could be formed and simultaneously could be studied. The finding of this research could improve preparation process of diagnosticians through forming in them basics guides of diagnostic search. Further research projects could be connected with impact of NEODS on different kinds of diagnostics.
