Tomsk State University (Russian Federation) Freedom authentication in creative youth subcultures

The article is devoted to the problem of freedom authentication (trueness check) in the experience of a modern person through the example of a creative youth subculture. The authentication problem turns up as a necessary complement to a person's identification experience in the context of virtualization, creative education and self-determination that are typical for the modern world. Nowadays to identify oneself with the world or with its part is not enough. It is also necessary to prove your identification. That is what we call the authentication problem. We have analyzed a number of materials that represent the field and activities of creative youth subcultures. It allows us assuming that modern creative youth subcultures are a form of confronting the fabulousness, the illusiveness and the unreality of the freedom of choice imperative that everyday demagogy offers. Instead of it they affirm the choice of freedom imperative, topical these days. The article represents the theoretical analysis of different choice of freedom senses in the focus of freedom experiences, forms and narratives psychological authentication. Participants of creative youth subcultures form a number of fields that correspond to choice of freedom authentication. These are: • A field of a myth, a field of "sacral being trueness". It is a field of "aesthetic myth-making", and in its center there is a dream of weal. In creative youth subcultures they understand the weal as the process of constructing a desired social reality and as a "self-creation" (self-practice) of a cultural character suitable for constructed reality. Creative youth subcultures understand suitability not only as a correspondence to some icons and ideals, but also as a possibility to challenge these ideals through fight, examination and adventure. A character goes on the journey because of his dream about the weal; he travels "dressed" in different archetypes through the space and time of a myth. He passes ethic tests by experiencing different situations of value, sense and ethical conflicts, he travels in search of his own, his identity. What is important is that a subcultural character is constantly engaged in self-reflection of his WAY of being in this journey. • A field of ethic creativity (rulemaking), a field of "social being trueness". Subcultural environment (unlike basic culture) is a territory where a man can choose ethical borders of his life. The choice of ethical models is important. In subcultural environment they realize different ethical models, among them are models of pleasure, utility, perfection, and altruism. Based on these models specific creative environments are formed in creative youth subcultures. These are the environments of active independence, insouciance, career and creativity, and they correspond with the needs of youth. • A field of own, a field of "true identity". Here the identity of a person in the changing world is formed. We created a research model that allows observing and analyzing current conditions of creative youth subcultures and educing trends of their future development.
