Forerunners of Post-Non-Classical Thinking in Russian Psychology: P.A. Florensky

The article analyzes the conceptual origins of post-non-classical thinking in Russian psychology. As a subject of understanding, the ideas of P.A. Florensky, the appeal to which allows, from the author’s point of view, to enrich significantly the conceptual sphere of systemic anthropological psychology and restore conceptual correspondences in post-nonclassical discourse of developing psychological knowledge. The studied concept of P.A. Florensky is devoted to the inclusion of intuitive experiences in the topic of scientific and artistic thinking. Intuition acts as an unaccountable for the reflection “organ” of the guidance of cognitive intent on events and experiences that have a special epistemological and existential meaning for a person. The article discusses the contribution of P.A. Florensky to comprehension the primary dynamics of thinking and the search for the phenomenological sources of nascent thought, its pre-rational "pulsation", which the author considered as an object of epistemology. The descriptive potential and heuristic nature of the metaphors used by scientists to comprehend the phenomenology of thinking that eludes the terminological objectification are emphasized: “mental tissue”, “whirlpools of thought”, “source keys of thought”, “enzymes of knowledge”, “fermentation of thought”, “pulsation of thought”. The scientist's ideas about thinking as a nonlinear synthetic process unfolding simultaneously in different registers of a multidimensional semantic field of consciousness are analyzed. Developing these ideas, the author of the article suggests that many resonating phenomenological projections of "pulsating thoughts" give rise to a special systemic state of mental "synarchy", which acts as an organizing principle for attuning all the equivalents of thought, their synthetic nodes, arising in a particular register of the human life, including temporal registers. The fundamental idea of P.A. Florensky on the inevitability of a knowing person from acts of knowledge is expounded. The development of this idea allows us to understand that the field of thematic nodes of thought resonating with each other is not separated from the real life relations of the thinking person, from his living space. In addition, it is noted that the psychodynamics of thinking is always associated with intrapersonal dynamics, affecting the rather deep noetic foundations of the personal way of being a cognizing person. It is emphasized that in thinking, taken in its temporal aspect, in addition to searching, transforming the method of solving the problem, transforming the operational and value-semantic structure of the situation of mental activity, “mental channels” are also laid for subsequent cognitive intentions that determine a person’s sensitivity to meaning-bearing gnostic events. We also give an example of convincing overcoming the binary logic by P.A. Florensky in deciding on the interaction of the knowing and the knowable. He substantiates the idea of a “synergistic act of cognition” in which the interpenetration of the energies of reality and man takes place.
