THE PECULIARITIES OF INTERDEPENCE BETWEEN GENERAL INTELLIGENCE AND MATHEMATICAL ABILITIES OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO STUDY IN DIFFERENT EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS

The article represents the results of empirical research of interdependence between general intelligence and mathematical abilities of high school students and university students who study in the field of general, humanitarian and mathematical areas. The results of the research demonstrate that general intelligence can be discussed as a stable response that determines the efficiency of mastering mathematical knowledge regardless of the profile of training.
