THE MEDIA AS AN ARTIFACT THAT MEDIATES BEHAVIOR IN HEALTH AREA

The article is dedicated to the problem of mass media’s influence on the process of health behavior forming, in particular, in the nutrition field taking into account the impact of culture in shaping human behavior, that is, within the framework of anthropological psychology. It discusses capacities and features of mass media’s acting as a factor of health protection. The article presents the results of the experiment about the media presented as artifacts broadcasting samples, diagrams food culture that evaluate dynamic behavior of students in the field of healthy nutrition under the influence of watching TV programs of different types.
