Software Development Cost Estimation: A Survey

The article is to study a software product as an object of economic research. The main features of the software production economics have been presented. The basic methods of software development cost estimation, described in Russian and foreign sources. Based on the principles of their work the methods were divided into income, market and asset based approaches.
