The review of PhD dissertations on household finance presentedin the ProQuest database
The review of English (mainly American) PhD dissertation on household finance is presented in the article.The authors, titles, classifications, chronology, structure of dissertations are shown. As a result of the reviewthe terminology analysis in the given sphere has been carried out. The conclusion of application possibility ofthe term «household financial management» in the Russian articles is drawn.
