The costs of innovative medicine development
The paper analyses the cost of developing an innovative drug. A cost structure of the various phases is given. The paper focuses especially on how development cost of a durg can vary for various illnesses. The paper uses a syncretic approach, which allows the reader to get a wide grasp of the issue. Statistical data is used extensively.
