Carpathoross Reunions in Siberia during the years of the Civil War (1918-1919)

The article is dedicated to the consideration of the problem of the Carpathoross self-organization on the territory of Siberia during the years of the Civil war. The special focus is given to the formation of the Carpathorussian council, its structure, body composition, main directions of activity. It is emphasized the significance of the I and the II Carpathoross reunions that formulated main directions, strategies and tactics of national interests of Carpathoross - Russophile implementation. The main task was defined by the Carpathorussian council as a necessity to include Carpathian Russia into the structure of Russia and the Carpathoross joining with the Russian, because the Carpathoross were considered as an integral part of the Russian ethnos. Trying to achieve its aims, the Council was forming the volunteer Carpathoross regiment in order to deliver the Carpathian region from the Austro-German domination and to help saving Russia as united and inseparable country, liberating it from the Bolsheviks. The Council was calling the Galich, the Bukovinen, the Ugro-russian to unite their actions in the implementation of these tasks.
