The appearance of the Bessarabian question at the last stage of WWI and the interpretation of these events in historical and memoirs

Rising to power of the Bolsheviks in Russia caused both fear and hatred in circles of Western elites. Governors of royal Romania were afraid that decrees "On the World" and "On the ground" will cause a new wave of revolutionary action of Russian soldiers and will have an impact on Romanian workers and peasants. But the Romanian oligarchy saw also the benefits in the Russian revolutionary events, like: the ability to implement the project of the "Great Romania". However, capturing Bessarabia the heaviest began for Romania: it was necessary to give though a semblance of legality to annexation edge in terms of international law.
