How the state symbolism was adopted in the Republic of Moldova

The author, a Deputy of Parliament in 1990-1994 and 1994-1998, leader of the Movement "Unity" discloses the details of the political fight regarding the adoption of the flag, emblem and hymn of the Republic of Moldova. The present day use of the government symbols is tied to a political formulation orientated to the interests of official Bucharest without guarantee for the personal safety from the use of threat and deceit to the members of the Moldavian Parliament. This does not reflect the historical traditions of Moldavia and is subject to correction.
